Banana Wholemeal Waffles

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 cup wholemeal plain flour

  • 2 tsp baking powder

  • Pinch of salt

  • 1 medium ripe banana (mashed)

  • 1 tbsp pure maple syrup

  • ¾ cup Vanilla Unsweetened Almond Breeze

METHOD:

  1. Sift flour, baking powder and salt into a mixing bowl and stir well.

  2. Add in mashed banana, maple syrup and almond milk and whisk together until a fairly thick and smooth batter is formed.

  3. Heat your waffle iron as required and use about 2-3 tbsp worth of mixture per waffle. Bake according to your waffle irons instructions.

Enjoy! Best served with banana, hemp seeds, maple syrup and a glass of Almond Breeze!
